Join us as a Product Manager - Home Price Index (HPI) Analyst working among the smartest and most often-quoted real estate information professionals in the business.
You will play a key role in the ongoing development, enhancement and maintenance of LoanPerformance HPI, the industry-leading home price index deployed via TrueStandings, our web-based analytics, reporting and data delivery platform. You will also be responsible for integrating other real estate data products with LoanPerformance HPI.
The responsibilities of this position also include identifying, addressing, and fulfilling "ahead of the curve" real estate data opportunities and solutions that will both increase and deepen our client base. The position also involves significant interfacing with our sales, client services, marketing, analytics and engineering teams.
Note: This position can be located in San Francisco, Sacramento or Santa Ana, CA.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum BA/BS degree (Master's preferred) in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics or Finance
- Minimum of 2-3 years' exposure/experience in real estate data and information
- Excellent product management and business analysis skills
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to specify real estate performance metrics
- Ability to assess product opportunities through market research and client feedback to develop market sizing, pricing, costing and ROI analyzes
- Experience in working with MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project and business intelligence tools (preferably MicroStrategy)
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), team driven, client-focused and strong innovation/creativity
Preferred:
- Experience with geospatial and geographic data a big plus
- Knowledge of home price indices and real estate economics
- Experience with the application of home price index products to mortgage portfolios
- Experience in working with offshore development teams
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project methodology
