The successful candidate should have a solid background in statistics and enjoy conducting quantitative analysis in a team environment. Successful experience in statistical modeling R&D, and implementation is very important. Business experience in consulting and/or pharmaceutical industry is also desirable. Other requisite skills include programming skills in SAS, SPSS, and related statistical programming. The position requires a detail-oriented person with excellent project management skills who is successful at multi-tasking and working with different teams.
Responsibilities
- Use various programs (SAS, SPSS, ACCESS, etc.) for data transformation and management. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, standardization and integrity of data.
- Help the research teams in designing quantitative market research studies.
- Implement advanced statistical methods, including discrete choice models, conjoint analysis, forecasting, segmentation models and other types of analysis as required by different projects.
- Mining of large databases (e.g., neural networks, machine learning, etc.)
- Coordinate and participate in ad hoc analyses to address client inquiries and resolve anomalies.
- Research and develop statistical methods and procedures.
