Responsibilities:
- Specialist would support field sales in engagements where advanced analytics will be utilized or is a key to the sales cycle. Also would provide corporate based resources with hands-on knowledge of customer requirements and current technology trends.
- Work with various account teams to provide technical sales support in sales/product presentations, product positioning, product demonstration, and implementation. Serve as the corporate product specialist and functional
- Expert for a wide range of analytic tools that interoperate with our product. Build proof-of-concept analytic applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping. Provide advanced analytics product evaluation support, product installation, application prototyping and benchmarks, often times in conjunction with a technology partner.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to speak to technical and business stakeholders and users
- Solid understanding of support/sales/account management workflow
- Detail-oriented; passion for getting involved with many different products, as well as understanding their form and functionality at a detailed level
- Proven track record of excellent presentation, documentation, and customer interaction skills
- Demonstrated experience in successfully advocating customer needs
- Knowledge of leading-edge statistical and quantitative analytical methods and experience with statistical analysis tools such as SAS, SPSS, S+, and R
- Ability to partner with customers, technology partners, and internal teams to define implementation strategies, review best practices, prototypes, and deliver initial solution implementations
- Experience with parallel database technologies helpful
- Experience implementing advanced analytic applications in a customer and partner environment.
