Internet E-Marketing Analyst (Memphis, TN)

Internet E-Marketing Analyst

Responsible for specifying, gathering, analyzing, and reporting all metrics related to Internet initiatives including revenue, CPA, CPC, CTR, ROI, open rates, conversion rates, and Web behavior on all the entire Internet portfolio of sites and campaigns.

Bachelor's degree and four years of Internet campaign management, including two years in a lead role required. Master's degree in related discipline is preferred. Hands-on Web analytics and multichannel campaign planning, execution and reporting on a national level a must. Requires rigorous testing online using email and banner advertisements for acquisition and cultivation campaigns on a national level. Knowledge of the Internet and Internet products including search tools, search providers, search tracking software, Web analytics, Web trends and Pilot and multimedia essential. Complete proficiency with Microsoft Office with Excel mastery and Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and VISIO required. Experience using Adobe PhotoShop, Microsoft FrontPage 2000, HTML and visual HTML tools like Dreamweaver or FrontPage knowledge a plus. Data warehouse tools preferred (ex. Business Objects). Excellent communications skills, including grammar and writing ability, a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with rapidly changing technology is essential. Must be willing to adapt to new software packages and assist in department training. Ability to get results in an ambiguous environment is critical to success. Knowledge of Vignette content management and Dialog desired. Must possess a valid driver's license.

JOB DESCRIPTION

At Adknowledge, we continually try new analytic approaches and keep what works. We are not opposed to making large-scale changes if the cost/benefit is appropriate. This position will drive analytic changes with large implications for our company's bottom line.

  • Develop new algorithms to match online consumers to marketing campaigns.
  • Test new algorithms with simulation and test cases.
  • Troubleshoot our proprietary targeting system to ensure optimal revenue is attained.
  • Work with large datasets consisting of thousands of variables and billions of records.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful the person filling this position must be able to employ a large variety of simulation techniques. Testing model accuracy in application is also required. Solutions must have the ability to be converted into computer algorithms that interact with real-time ad-delivery systems.

  • An MS with at least two years experience, or a PhD in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research or other mathematical field is required. Engineering degrees with heavy mathematical components will be considered depending on work experience or college course emphasis.
  • Two years experience designing and implementing data mining, statistical tests, and/or simulations.
  • Strong SQL skills. Ability to aggregate and join data to support statistical analysis.
  • Ability to parse and manipulate large log files, in LINUX environment, to prepare data for statistical analysis.

  • Be hands-on and capable of executing rapidly as an individual in addition to a team;
  • Enjoy rapid change within a small, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture;
  • Have a superior business intellect.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  1. All resumes will be screened based on the aforementioned criteria by Human Resources.

As a Manager within our Trading Solutions practice, you will report to the Director, Analytical Solutions and work with one of our largest clients, a global leader in the financial services industry. You will analyze comScore’s extensive proprietary database on consumer behavior and develop insight to be used by our client for making trading decisions in worldwide financial markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

The Manager, Analytical Solutions will support the company’s goals through a range of statistical modeling and analytic functions. The successful candidate will be involved in initiating, developing and delivering our unique analysis and research services to our largest client within the investment community. The Manager will:

  • Leverage analytical excellence, comScore’s proprietary databases and a thorough understanding of consumer online behavior to identify, develop and deliver valuable insights into current and future consumer trends.
  • Maximize the potential of comScore’s unique capabilities within the client organization through the development of client relationships within different industry-focused areas.
  • Contribute to the design and development of new analytical and modeling capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree and 6 years of professional experience, or advanced degree and 5+ years of professional experience, ideally within the market research industry.
  • A high intellect individual who combines analytical excellence with an ability to build client relationships
  • Extensive experience with data-intensive analysis, including primary or syndicated market research. Strong statistical and predictive modeling skills and experience with large relational databases essential.
  • Solid fundamental understanding of financial analysis.
  • Flexibility and ability to work fast under tight deadlines with demanding quality requirements.
  • Must be expert in all Microsoft Office applications and knowledgeable about the Internet. SQL programming skills a distinct advantage.
  • A desire and ability to work in an innovative, fast-paced and market-leading company.
