Critical to the growth of CafePress.com and reporting to the Senior Director of Analytics, the Senior Web Analyst is responsible for developing and interpreting data from CafePress’ numerous finance, marketing, and product development programs, delivering incisive reporting and compelling presentations, enabling strategic business decisions that will significantly impact revenue.   • Drive data-driven insights on visitor behavior by analyzing website data on traffic patterns, conversion funnel and navigation behavior for websites.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve web site effectiveness via data mining and analysis to understand user interactions with site and to scope out opportunities to increase user engagement and satisfaction
  • Participate in web site projects as a measurement expert, liaising with the engineering team and other cross-functional departmental constituents (marketing, product, finance) to identify reporting requirements, monitor the reporting implementation, and evaluating post-launch metrics. Identify, analyze and resolve problems related to automated systems and operations.
  • Synthesize data and Proactively share research findings and best practices with key stakeholders including customer insights, benchmarking, and industry updates.
  • Manage key metrics to measure website performance and maintain dashboards and general reporting activities.
  • Participate in additional business intelligence activities related to data analysis.

Experience & Skills:
  • 5 or more years as a Web Analyst with strong analytical experience and broad understanding of web analytics tools (Omniture, Web Trends, or Coremetrics) as well as experience with CRM systems and relational databases
  • Must be able to clearly articulate key findings to the appropriate audience and evangelize the use of analytics to drive change, marrying data analytics with sound business insight and judgment
  • Experience with rigorous statistical analyses
  • Extensive experience analyzing consumer behavior, site usage and performance
  • Must have eCommerce and/or retail industry experience
  • Intellectual horsepower to comprehend the complex and synthesize into the simple; love the challenge of solving three dimensional problems and the seeing the results of your work put into action
  • Strong client-orientation for working with internal customers
  • Self motivated leader and motivator who delivers results with minimal supervision

  • An expert at MS Excel and Powerpoint

  • Familiarity with MicroStrategy BI suite is also a plus

Description of Duties:

Under general supervision, collects and organizes Atlanta Area Schools for the Deaf (AASD) student data and conducts data analysis using student information software applications. This position will work directly with the marketing team on analysis related to campaigns.     • Communicate and document processes and analysis results. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and to various business groups, including Finance, Marketing and Compliance.

    The candidates should have 2+ years of financial services industry experience. Candidates with exceptional track record from other industry in an analytical or consulting role will also be considered. The individual will need to show strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, SAS or other comparable statistical/database programs or programming languages. He should also have strong presentation and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations/engineering or equivalent is required. Masters in similar quantitative discipline preferred.
