background in quantitative analysis and programming to support and
develop private equity investment strategies. Successful candidates will
join a new team responsible for the design and development of systems
and algorithms to help manage a private equity portfolio and analyze
individual investments. Quantitative analysts with the D. E. Shaw group
have traditionally been the top students in their respective math,
computer science, statistics, and engineering programs. We're looking
