Database Marketing Analyst, Columbus, Ohio Corporate Center (Polaris)
This position is in JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer Retail Marketing group, which is part of the U.S. consumer banking businesses, serving customers under the Chase brand. The consumer businesses include:
- Branch banking
- Credit card
- Small business banking
- Home finance
- Auto and education finance
- Insurance
- Direct mail
- Call center
- Branch
- ATM
- Working with Marketing and Segment managers to:
- Understand marketing program desired target audience,
- Translate those requirements into technical specifications,
- Query the database to successfully create a targeted marketing list,
- Apply all necessary suppressions,
- Create and deliver QA documentation to Marketing and Segment mangers,
- Review QA and mange the UAT process with Marketing and Segment Managers,
- Manage the delivery of the marketing file to the proper channels this may require working with external vendors to negotiating timing and deliver files
- Assure that that the program is successfully logged in the Marketing Campaign History DataMart.
- Working with internal audit groups to assure compliance with internal marketing execution standards
- Experience with marketing program execution. This would include: prior experience in marketing list creation, an understanding of marketing and analytical databases.
- Strong knowledge and working experience with data manipulation tools such SAS, SQL, Business Objects / Set Analyzer, or another tools to query large databases and manipulate large data files.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritize and work in a highly fluent and fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate time lines, delivery dates, and resolve conflict between partners
- Specific knowledge of Unica’s Campaign Management tools is highly desirable - but not required. The desire and ability to learn and adapt Unica, as a tool of choice, is required
- A four-year degree, or its equivalent, in business information systems, computer science, mathematical/statistical disciplines, engineering, or another technical degree. A graduate degree in Business with a technical undergraduate degree is desirable, but not required.
