ONSITE3 needs a Data Mining Analyst to work in our Arlington, VA location!
The Data Mining team plays an integral role within the organization. In this role, someone must be a proven problem solver and possess the keen ability to utilize cutting edge tools in data mining and analytics. Someone who is very experienced gathering, organizing and comparing information in preparation of discovery and pre-litigation.
Database Analytics Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Filter the databases to target specific information
- Create queries to generate pattern recognition results
- Normalize data whenever necessary
- Create database reports for logical output to attorneys
- Design or customize components of the data mining software to perform the purported functions necessary for this project
- Communication (verbal and written) to other consultants at ONSITE3 and potentially to our clients
- Ability to mine and analyze transactional electronic data
- Transform data from multiple platforms/environments into usable reports for a large scale litigation matter to allow decision making from the Attorneys
Experience
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science in engineering, mathematics, or computer science
- Minimum of 3-5 years in the following:
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, Crystal Reports
- Experience with Perl, VBScript, and PL/SQL a plus
- Analytics/Problem solving experience a must
- Data migration experience essential
- Data warehousing/business intelligence experience a plus
