- Provide product-specific information on an ad-hoc basis to internal clients through extensive use of reporting tools like Business Objects, MicroStrategy, MS Excel and others
- Partner closely with product teams to understand business requirements, identify key metrics, interpret data and develop processes to share findings
- Utilize a broad set of skills including data manipulation, analysis, oral / written communication and presentation
- Interface with various marketing teams to provide analytic support to marketing execution, including campaign and customer analysis
- Assist in development and tracking of marketing metrics that enable us to assess and optimize marketing efforts over time
- High energy and a desire to work in a deadline-oriented, growth environment
- Fun team player that works well in collaborative situations.
- Advanced skills with MS Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas, Charting, Macros, etc.) and MS Access required.
- Proficiency with the following tools is a plus: Business Objects, MicroStrategy, SQL, SAS, MS PowerPoint, MS Word. Knowledge of key financial calculations also desired.
- Deep familiarity with the eBay site and business
- Strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate with teams, understand requirements and interpret findings
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and execute within deadlines on cross-functional projects
- 1-2 years experience in managing quantitative and analytical projects
- BA/BS in Statistics, Economics, Business, Operations or related field
