Marketing Field Analyst - Cox Communications (Atlanta, GA)

Position Summary:

Position Summary:

As a member of the Database Marketing team, the Field Marketing Reporting Analyst will be responsible for interacting with field marketing and other partners to:

1. Gather strategic information and develop reporting to provide a holistic view of marketing initiatives and relative results across all CCI systems. The FMRA will drive the requirements pertaining to understanding marketing effectiveness in the field.

2. For any particular project, this person will compile necessary information and analyze the effects of marketing actions across various dimensions such as time, geography, and consumer segments.

3. Provide detailed analysis, written and verbal, of marketing activities including recommendations on strategic marketing changes based on results.

4. Develop strong relationships with business partners, providing supporting information to lead marketing impact/results discussions and proactively identify information needs.

5. Develop expert knowledge of CCIs data systems to react efficiently and effectively to ad hoc data and analysis requests.

Requirements

Strong data analysis experience with SQL/Oracle (2 years)

Direct marketing and campaign management experience (2 years)

Advanced experience with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) (5 years)

Strong ability to organize, analyze, interpret, and disseminate information

Strong communications skills


Desired Qualifications:

Experience in:

Business Intelligence applications

SAS/Data mining tools

Segmentation systems (ConneXions, PRIZM, Cohorts)

Campaign management tools (Chordiant, Unica, Epiphany)

Telecommunications, Consulting or Financial Services industry

Education:

Undergraduate degree required, preferably in business management, marketing, finance, or computer science.

Masters degree a plus, especially in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems

Other:

Demonstrated leadership qualities

Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with specific expertise in management reporting and executive writing skills

Strong knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation

Self-starter with ability to manage projects and relationships independently

Knowledge - Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of moderately complex assignments. Solid knowledge of organization's technologies and practices

Influence/People Leadership - May provide general guidance/direction or train junior level support and professional personnel
