Data Architect, Up to $100,000 a year (Kansas City, MO)

Adknowledge is a single destination for advertisers looking for quality clicks beyond Google® and Yahoo®. Adknowledge operates an online marketplace that allows advertisers to bid for traffic in websites, smaller search engines and email. To date, more than 50,000 advertisers have used the Adknowledge ad marketplace. Additionally, publishers can show Adknowledge ads by utilizing AdStation on their website, email list, or search engine.

Our newly created Data Architect will be instrumental in developing complex algorithms to centralize behavioral technologies for optimal on-line advertisements to consumers; utilizing SQL, Oracle in a UNIX environment. Architects will be a key component to generate data analysis on our proprietary targeting system to ensure optimal revenue is attained. As well as cultivating models efficiency for 10+ terabytes of data.

CHALLENGE

As a Data Architect, you will be a part of an evolving industry development team who is responsible for providing high-quality work in a very fast paced technology company. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of internet and email advertising industry. Goal oriented and deadline conscience is a key characteristic for this position. The ideal candidate will be individually driven with a team mentality and enjoy rapid change within a small entrepreneurial, technology culture.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years experience designing and implementing data mining/modeling, statistical tests and/or simulations
  • 1+ years developing in a UNIX environment
  • 1+ years non-academic SQL development with any DBMS, Oracle
  • Proven experience translating requirements into solutions
  • Masters or PHD in Mathematics or related field
