Click Quality / Business Intelligence Analyst - Business.com (Santa Monica, CA)

This is an opportunity to be a key player in identifying and quantifying strategic business opportunities and critically evaluating existing business activities. In the role you will be expected to leverage advanced statistical methods and analysis to assist in the forecasting of opportunities and the impact of current activities. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing information with other groups in the organization regarding to Business Intelligence.


The successful candidate will have a degree in statistics and experience in defining the statistical analysis required to verify and evaluate complex business situations. The candidate will have experience with statistical analysis methods such as multivariate regression, logistic regression, discriminate analysis, and factor analysis. Experience with advanced statistical classification and clustering techniques is highly desirable. You will be competent in SPSS (or SAS) and SQL in a business environment. Business acumen and focus is crucial in this role, as is the ability to communicate statistics to upper management and cross-departmentally.

The Click Quality responsibilities will involve projects to analyze web logs and use site traffic reporting tools to evaluate web traffic and statistics for very large data sets. You will improve overall click quality for RHDi and our clients. You will lead projects related to click quality automation and client awareness as well as client attrition and retention. You will interact with related departments including Engineering, Finance, Marketing and others to evaluate and improve the traffic to our internet properties.

Responsibilities

  • Reactive and proactive qualitative and quantitative analysis related to click quality, client attrition and retention, and general Business Intelligence needs for the company
  • Improve overall click quality
  • Ongoing analysis and recommendations on traffic quality as it relates to client attrition and retention
  • Lead projects related to the above

Skills/Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years experience in statistical and analysis, online media and financial experience preferred.
  • Masters or PHD in Statistics preferred.
  • SPSS, SAS.
  • SQL & MatLab.
  • Ability to work with very large data sets.
  • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to frame analytics around business problems.
  • High level of integrity with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multitask and meet concurrent deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
