Director, Internet Marketing (Wichita, KS)

Director, Internet Marketing ( Lead Generation Specialist ).

The Director of Internet Marketing is a brand new position and reports into the Chief Internet Officer. The primary responsibilities will be to envision, build and execute winning marketing and sales strategies for the company's products and services via the web. This executive will work very closely with the Chief Internet Officer and as a key member of the executive team, and will be the main driver of the overall online presence.

Primary Role: Fully responsible for development, design, and implementation of multiple nationwide Internet marketing plans and strategies, which includes, but is not limited to organic search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, pay-per-placement (PPP) campaigns, lead generators, content development and optimization, search engine marketing (SEM), and online press releases. Manage and direct all PPC campaigns and Affiliate accounts, SEO/SEM strategies, website content/layout/usability, and any other Internet marketing campaigns. Analyze and review website traffic metrics and ROI. Research and recommend new SEO/SEM strategies, Internet marketing and advertising technologies, and current internet trends. Knowledge and skills:

  • An innovative, driven e-commerce executive with demonstrated recent, relevant success in similar roles.
  • A minimum of 10+ years experience in web strategy and e-commerce management; in addition to other related marketing, direct marketing or sales experience.
  • Success in online businesses that sell and market to Consumers or other volume markets.
  • Creative leadership capabilities to drive a world-class e-commerce site that produces high-growth results.
  • Passionate about E-Commerce and building volume businesses in under served markets.
  • Success in at least one venture backed start-up in an executive role.
  • Ability to architect and implement an overarching e-commerce strategy and that supports the company’s growth objectives.
  • International experience is strongly desired.
  • Superior abilities in presenting and evangelizing to audiences of all sizes, from one on one to large groups.
  • Adept at business and financial management, ideally has run a P & L.
  • A proven leader, adept at being a player/coach of small efficient teams.
  • Evolve the company's overall web persona to be a more action-oriented, leading edge user experience driving increased interactivity.
  • Develop a system of web-metrics reports that give the management team insight into all aspects of the e-commerce business and the best mechanisms to drive growth.
  • Develop comprehensive, multi-channel strategies for growing online sales, domestically and internationally.
  • Employ Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to grow the e-commerce business.
  • Create streamlined methods to quickly integrate Lead Generators into the inbound and outbound traffic.
  • Drive growth for new traffic, active users, subscribers and conversions through innovative and compelling initiatives, promotions and campaigns.
  • Identify and implement growth strategies and establish awareness building programs that will ensure growth for the e-commerce business.
