AstraZeneca is currently recruiting for a Senior Statistician in our Waltham, MA R&D location.

This position will be joining AstraZeneca's Discovery Statistics group, which works through partnership with a diverse global customer base. The group is actively focused on delivering significant scientific and business benefit through creative statistical solutions to a wide range of problems. Our statistical input helps to exploit the maximum value from research experiments by improving the quality of data generated and the interpretation of results, whilst reducing costs, saving time and contributing to portfolio diversity.

We have initiated a major strategic investment and are now driving forward to build this capability by recruiting ten statisticians globally over 2009 and 2010. We believe we are unparalleled amongst our competitors in developing Discovery Statistics to this level.
