Manager of Analysis & Reporting - PRA International (Charlottesville, VA)

We are currently seeking a clinical trials professional with strong leadership experience in SAS Programming for the position of Manager of Analysis & Reporting. This person will directly supervise a staff of SAS Programmers in our Charlottesville, VA office. This team prepares and executes statistical analyses and contributes to clinical development and regulatory submissions.

The individual selected for this position will manage the daily operations of Analysis & Reporting business functions to ensure project objectives are met. In a highly visible role, this Manager will serve as the primary functional representative on project teams.

Some of the various accountabilities include:

  • Scheduling and reviewing project tasks
  • Leading and/or organizing project teams in areas such as regulatory (NDA/MAA) submissions, drafting report specifications, and coordination of data analysis
  • Providing leadership in the delivery of services
  • Ensuring that staff fulfills their responsibilities in accordance with PRA’s policies, procedures, and SOPs

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Masters degree from an accredited institution in statistics, biostatistics, pharmaceutical sciences, biology or a health-related field preferred?? Work experience in a Senior SAS Programmer capacity for 2+ years required
  • Substantial experience working in a pharmaceutical company or contract research organization (CRO) – including supervision or management of technical staff
  • Strong experience using computerized systems – particularly SAS programming
  • Knowledge relevant to ICH statistical analysis and clinical study report writing guidelines preferred
  • Superior oral / written communication and presentation skills
