Job Description

The successful candidate will be involved in the following:

· Create a centralized and consistent approach to implement, support and manage Business Intelligence across the organization to maximize predictability, efficiency and quality of development, integration and operations related to Business Intelligence. Set Vision & Mission for BI.

· Provide Strategic Leadership to BI in Commercial Markets

· Oversight & Management of BI Organization

· Liaison with Business and IT Management on BI Solutions

· BI Budget & Financial Coordination

· Data Management Governance Member (silent)

· Administrative Management for BI Center of Excellence Team

· Responsible for approving any change to scope, schedule and financials.

· Remove obstacles affecting scope, schedule and financials as escalated by project team

· Established critical success factors for project team.

· Prioritization Setting

· Foster and participate in cross market knowledge networks

· Use mentoring & other skill building activities to ensure the highest quality professionals are being developed.

· Evaluate industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging BI technologies



Manages staff and provides technical guidance related to software development and related projects to a portfolio of applications. Oversees the development, implementation and execution of project plans for product maintenance, enhancements and vendor releases; ensure scope and schedule are established for projects and assignments; oversees operating plan and resource allocation for the unit, including prioritization and staff deployment. Ensures team adheres to applicable department and enterprise policies and processes.
Projects, products or operations are consistently more critical, more complex, have broader scope and have more impact than those delivered by individual contributors. Manages teams which are generally each composed of a minimum of 8-10 people.

Requirements

Must have in-depth knowledge of SAS and Hyperion technology stack.

Bachelors or Masters Degree in technical or business discipline or related experience, and a minimum of 8 years related experience with 3 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies; thorough knowledge of business functions and operations, objectives and strategies. In-depth knowledge of project planning methodologies and tools and IT standards and guidelines; knowledge of management concepts, practices and techniques. Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills;, strong oral and written communication skills; and strong presentation skills.

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 base
