Regression Modeler - Maricopa County (Phoenix, AZ)

We are looking for experienced regression modelers to complement our valuation team. Successful candidates are those who enjoy being on the cutting edge of the profession with an eye to learning and innovating advanced regression modeling techniques. You will develop, test, implement, and verify multiple regression analysis and mass appraisal models for an array of property types. In addition you will develop, test, and document SPSS model programs for single and multi-unit residential market value, commercial cost value, and multi-unit residential income values. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a closely relate field and two years experience in mass appraisal development, multiple regression analysis or sales ratio studies.

The Maricopa County Assessor’s Office is responsible for valuing over 1.4 million parcels of real property (homes, commercial buildings and land) and personal property (secured and unsecured assets) throughout the County’s 9,127 square miles.

Led by the elected County Assessor, the Assessor’s Office employs over 360 workers whose joint efforts are responsible for capturing, assessing, recording and notifying owners and other government agencies of the value of taxable properties.
