Responsibilities:
The Manager: Web Analytics & Business Intelligence will:
- Analyze web site metrics and derive actionable recommendations to meet business objectives, including click path analysis, fall out analysis, shopping cart abandonment, user behavior, merchandising opportunities, and page conversion
- Conduct multivariate testing and make recommendations for optimal site layout, including pages for internal traffic and landing page optimization for visitors from external links
- Communicate and present metrics effectively to improve decision support systems
- Perform basic statistical analysis, such as calculating statistical significance, and distributions
The successful candidate will have the leadership skills to create and execute a strategy for performing experiments in order to achieve explicit business goals. Our client is looking for the motivated, self-starter who will establish themselves as the statistical expert. The responsibilities of this position have the potential to grow contingent on the success of the initiatives that the analyst develops.
Candidate must have a strong background in Statistics with formal training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in Statistics or Economics required
- 2+ years experience with a web analytics tool; Omniture preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication with the ability to develop and improve decision support systems
- Financial or business analysis experience
- Understanding of profiling/segmentation and predictive modeling
Compensation:
- Base $90,000-$110,000
- Sign on bonus
