Research Planning Analyst / Senior Analyst - NYU Langone Medical Center (New York, NY)

Located in the heart of New York City, NYU Langone Medical Center is one of the nation’s premier centers of excellence in health care, biomedical research and medical education. In order to keep our research initiatives moving forward, it is crucial that we have determined, self-motivated individuals working in our Office of Science and Research. Currently, we’re looking for a Research Planning Analyst to provide administrative support for our research-related activities.

In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing and implementing high-level projects that have a significant impact on the School of Medicine’s research developments. This involves creating business plans, conducting financial and data analyses, developing processes to manage research billing compliance, and streamlining data collection and analysis processes.

To qualify, you must have a Master’s degree in Business, Public Health, Health Administration, Public Administration or a related field and previous experience in financial modeling and management. Proficiency in MS Office software is required; experience with programs such as Visio, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Turbo Demo, Brio, and Adobe Acrobat, a plus. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks is a must. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, project management, customer service and analytical skills are essential to success.
