Retail Centric Predicative Modeler (NY, NJ, CT)

contract to full time position, GIS experience a must

Responsibilities:

Develop data models, work closely with all development resources re: creating an integrated model comprising of multiple business/subject areas. Overall responsibilities include extracting business data from multiple data sources, designing the associated model, and creating all required documentation to support, communicate, and validate the data model

Location:

NY, NJ, CT

Employment:

Independent Contractor with a possible transition to a full-time position

Pay rate:

Negotiable based on skill set

Desired Requirements

• Retail Centric Modeler
• Statistical experience
• Market analysis experience
• 5+ years experience
• Inter personnel skills a must for client interaction
• Creative research skills to secure data sets to fulfill client’s deliverables
• Data management /Data Warehouse experience
• Strong business acumen highly desirable
• Some travel required
• Platform: Windows XP, Windows NT, Window 2000, Windows 2003, Windows Vista
• Programming Languages: Java, Visual Basic, SQL, HTML
• Software: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Projects, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, GIS

Education:

Minimum B.S. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent plus 5 years experience in a job as a Consultant, Programmer Analyst, Database Administration or, related IT position. Statistical background a must
