Summary:
We are seeking a highly credible and innovative senior director of analytical solutions for the development and growth of our analytical service offering. An ideal candidate must be able to lead a world class analytics team and serve as a catalyst for creating and delivering innovative analytical solutions that provide the foundation for our clients’ customer-centric marketing and overall business strategies. The person we seek has the hands-on experience and a track record of building and developing statistical analyses and is now ready to take on a more leadership-oriented role in developing and delivering our analytical solutions. This “up and comer” is expected to deliver innovative analytical solutions to our customers.
Essential Functions:
- Understand and champion new ways of analyzing and positively impacting our client’s customer experience, customer intelligence, campaign management, business intelligence and interactive marketing strategies.
- Contribute to the profitable management of the strategic services team by continuously aligning client needs with analytical solutions team’s collective skill set and capacity.
- Partner with the Sr. Vice President of Strategic Services to design and execute new statistical research methodologies that clients will value.
- Recommend best-in-class applied statistical (descriptive and inferential) methodologies to solve challenging marketing and business questions based on captive and external data sources.
- Understand, analyze and adjust the business process to continuously improve quality and efficiency, while boosting value to the client.
- Present business results to customers and be able to explain findings to technical and non-technical people.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and evaluate industry trends to ensure our company’s standing as a thought leader.
- Hire, develop, and manage analytical solutions staff and mentor co-workers in strategic services, instilling key values of innovation, quality and clarity of purpose.
Required Skills:
- Over 7+ years leveraging the analytical techniques and methods such as descriptive analyses, LTV, cross-purchase, migration, customer segmentation, and measure and quantify marketing effectiveness.
- 5+ years experience in retail and/or related direct marketing industries.
- Have led teams in the development and deployment of statistical models throughout a customer engagement.
- Have provided customer facing consulting by analyzing customer’s analytical and modeling needs; determine the best modeling approach, process, and techniques; can “walk the walk and talk the talk”.
- Must be able to present analytical results to customers.
- Experience in hiring, developing and managing analytical staff.
- Working knowledge of SAS is required.
- Qualitative and primary research analysis is strongly desired.
- Experience with large scale systems integration, data warehousing, and database marketing development a plus.
