The Senior Manager will be charged with the strategic direction and day to day operations relating to strategic reporting, yield management and inventory forecasting. This is a pivotal role on the team; acting as both advisor and consultant on these key areas for the digital advertising sector.
The Senior Manager will manage and coach a team of forecasting and analytics professionals who will track, report and analyze ad and revenue data. This role requires executive presence as you will be presenting data (written and oral) to C level management executives. Core areas of expertise include experience in utilizing a microstrategy tool set to identify and interprets trends, an ability to optimize reporting standards and practice, and experience forecasting in a data intensive environment.
The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience in a data analysis role; with 3 plus years in the media (internet or related) sector as well as 1-2 plus years supervising a team. Key areas of knowledge include: inventory prediction, online advertising (terminology/mechanics), revenue forecasting, billing, revenue recognition.
Ideal personal attributes include an ability to drive collaboration - bringing together executive, product and technical teams toward shared goals and objectives. An abilty to work in an unstructured environment, managing multiple initiatives. Solid skills in presenting complex concepts and data analyses to senior management. Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
