THE POSITION
Reporting to the Director of Intellectual Capital, this is a unique role that combines work on client project teams with responsibility for internal initiatives that extend the firm’s core of intellectual capital. This person will be the “go to person” that has innate intellectual curiosity and the desire to stay current with new developments in the field of consumer research and statistics, and help the team apply them in groundbreaking ways that contribute to client success.
THE INDIVIDUAL
- The successful candidate will have extensive training and experience in applying statistical techniques to answer consumer research questions. These techniques should include: discrete choice modeling and related techniques, cluster analysis, and regression analysis.
- Candidates should have completed a graduate level degree in statistics, math, economics or a related quantitative discipline from a leading academic institution and have at least 1-3 years of work experience doing statistical analysis in an industry or consulting setting, preferably with some consumer research experience.
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, as they will be required to translate into laymen’s terms complex statistical analyses. In addition, the abilities to think creatively, apply statistical analyses to concrete settings, and to adhere to tight deadlines are necessary.
