Have you lead a web analytics team for an e-commerce company?

VistaPrint is looking for the best people who understand web analytics and how it applies to business practices. Data is critical to the construction, execution, and refinement of marketing and product plans at VistaPrint.

Join a team that uses best-of-class analytics software, has built a sophisticated multivariate testing (MVT) platform, and is looking for someone who wants tackle the challenge of these types of questions:

  • How do we mine click-stream data to identify our high-potential customers?
  • How can we improve conversion rate for promotional products on the German website?
  • What data/rules would increase the contribution of our site's cross-sell recommendation engine?
  • How can we optimize the site experience for each individual visitor, based on what we know?
  • How can we programmatically detect obscure-but-costly site problems?

The manager of web analytic's work centers on leading a team in the definition, planning, execution and interpretation of detailed web site analyses. Partner with marketing to identify opportunities to improve conversion and enhance user experience through the site using Visual Sciences, SQL, and SAS.

Responsibilties:

  • Combination of hands-on management and individual contribution, tackling the particularly challenging analyses
  • Partnering with the User Experience and Product teams to optimize the site experience, merchandising and performance of new products in terms of contribution to the business
  • Performing exploratory, ad-hoc data analysis to discover new opportunities
  • Generating key findings, action plans and deliver periodic analytical presentations
  • Mentor team in programming and analytical techniques
