My InnerView is an applied research company that is implementing state-of-the-art quality management practices in nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and other long term care settings across the US. The company (based in Wausau, WI) currently serves over 6,500 facilities and maintains a large national database. We are looking for a talented and energetic individual to serve as Senior Research Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation in the long term care profession. Job Description

Title: Senior Research Analyst
Department: Research and Information Services

Job Summary

The Senior Research Analyst oversees research activities to advance knowledge to support quality improvement efforts for My InnerView clients and the long term care profession. The Senior Research Analyst works with the senior management team to support the ongoing development of My InnerView products and services.

Summary of essential job functions

The Senior Research Analyst works with My InnerView staff, research contractors and clients to: (1) conduct research projects to support the company’s knowledge-building and product development activities, (2) conduct statistical analyses for client reports, (3) assist in the development of presentations and publications for both scientific and practitioner audiences, and (4) respond to ad hoc research requests as needed.

Minimum requirements

A Masters degree in health services research, statistics or related field, or a Bachelors degree with advanced statistical skills is required. Candidates with contextual knowledge about long term care and/or field experience working in long term care are preferred. Good quantitative skills are required.

Abilities required

  • Technical skills related to database management and data analysis
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of health services research methods
  • Practical experience in long term care delivery settings
  • Research experience using quantitative methods and managing large datasets
  • Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, STATA or similar statistical packages
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Interpersonal skills for optimal teamwork

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
